early mom’s day gift
DH just bought an iRobot aka Roomba last weekend for me as an early mother’s day gift! Normally I would cringe when he says he wants to buy things “for me”, because the stuff he wants to buy are usually what he wants, and not what I want, e.g. the 2-sets of knives, Blendtec Blender just to name a few. (Hmm… wait a sec… maybe he wants it more than I do since he is the one who does most of the cleaning nowadays. 
) But this time, I’m really happy with his purchase because I know this “gadget” is going to be used very often. I don’t have to wait as long as 1.5months for my man to vacuum the floor now since with a push of a button, my Roomba will do the job anytime I want. 
PS: Scooba the floor washing robot, seems to be a great companion for my Roomba, can someone please get it for me too?? *bats my eyes*
*Envy* Think I will have to wait till Xmas to have one… Your hubby very sweet & thoughtful. Know that you are busy taking care of your little ones and bought this for you

Since I have only used it twice so far, it is a bit too early to tell if it is really doing a good job. But so far we have no complaints yet. What we like abt the roomba now is that it is good in picking up hairs (thank goodness… no need to hear the nags of my DH). However, we do find that it is not very good in sucking the rug fibers. Not sure if it is because it was transiting from rug to hardwood floor. Anyway, one point to note… my house is almost 85% hardwood floor. So, if you have carpeted flooring, you will have to read the other reviews online.

i have irobot as a gift from my hubby too!! very useful helper. i dont need to scream at the irobot to get it to move its ass.
hey, i own 3 roombas (4, if u count e one tt’s spoilt) n a scooba! hahahaha. i must say they have served us very well, esp w a kid hor. so convenient. we can jaga other tings n looking after e kid while e robot does e cleaning 4 us. ur hse so big hor, ask ur hubby 2 buy another roomba lah so dun need to charge too many times. hehehe…
scooba is very slow tho but cleaner than e regular mop! we only use it 4 e kitchen.

Erika, I love the roomba! It is really good at picking hairs and rug fibers!!! You must really consider getting this for yourself. It is going to be a great help when your baby arrives!
